Usage Policy

The internet is a wonderful, huge world of inspiration for bloggers and the general public to explore and be inspired to get creative in their own lives & homes. I can’t wait to keep sharing my ideas with all of you.  HOWEVER.  it’s not acceptable to abuse this process, so I share the following with you…

Copyright

All images, words and photographs in this blog (except where specified) are mine.  All pictures, images and text are copyrighted.

Please feel free to share one single picture from a post (not a collage), with proper credit and a link back to this blog. If you would like to republish any of the text or words on this blog, or more than one photograph, YOU MUST OBTAIN WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM ME.   You can contact me here: willowtreehill19@gmail.com
Sharing is a benefit to both of us!  – If you share a link to one of my posts or projects – please let me know!  I’d love to hear what you have to say, and do the same for you. Whenever you use my blog posts or photos on your website or social media, I will do my best to promote YOUR post on my social media.  =)

The FTC made me do this…

In 2009, our friends at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) revised their guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials in order to protect the public from any intentionally errant or misleading advertising that has been paid for by a group or company.

What this means:

I love sharing my creative ideas for home & garden with anyone who wants to hang out with me on my blog.  I think it’s super sweet that you would want to read about my life and home.  With this comes a certain degree of trust.  You trust that what I have to say and share are my own experiences and opinions, and not influenced by outside sources.

It’s also pretty neat that sometimes people are willing to compensate me (I hope, someday!!!) to keep pursuing my passions in life.  I want you to know that I would never let financial compensation impact the opinions I share with you.  My goal behind this blog is to share my love of home, decor, and gardening with everyone, but also – having been recently diagnosed with early stages of RRMS, I had to come back home and I still need to be able to provide for my family. A bonus is getting to babysit my sweet baby granddaughter part time! This allows me to work my own schedule, so I can rest when needed and properly care for myself.

So, without further ado, here’s the legal hooplah that the law says I need to make you aware of.
